Aweke loves to travel. That’s all she did throughout the days of her youth. Now in her mid-thirties and stuck at home because of the ongoing pandemic, she can only reminisce and relish memories from those days she spent on her favorite islands and vacation spots.
One minute she’s in her room in Nigeria and the next she’s remembering her visit to Bali aka The Island of the gods. Her mind wanders through the unforgettable Indian Ocean, the local men, and women dressed in their traditional Sarong skirt.
She then wanders through the globally recognized Balinese architecture and exotic art. She wonders how every Balinese house had a family temple and how the traditional structure is aimed to create a sacred space and balance between the physical and cosmic atmosphere.
She wants to be taken back to their beaches and rocky cliffs. The white sand beaches and turquoise waters of Uluwatu and Nusa Dua. Her love for nature and connection with some of the waterfalls in Bali almost made her decide to stay there forever. The Munduk, NungNung and Git Git waterfalls made her dreams come true.
She sighs in satisfaction as she thinks about the Balinese cuisines with their wide varieties of spices. In Bali, there’s always a meal for everyone with different nutritional preferences. While she was there, she ate from different food stands (called Warung by the Balinese) but her favorite stalls were My Warung which has various branches along with major places on the island like Canggu or Ubud. Their Nasi Campur (mixed rice), Babi Guling (roasted suckling pig), or Iga Babi (pork ribs) were to die for. She could almost taste these delicacies in her mouth.
Just then, a knock on the door annoyingly brought Aweke out of her reverie. She reluctantly gets up to open the door, only to find her pizza delivery waiting for her. Oh well, if she can’t have a plate of Babi Guling she’d have to make do with her burnt sausage pizza from her favorite pizza house. The delivery came with a flier from a travel company called Tramango, she remembers seeing something about their amazing travel deals and the reviews from their customers.
This is when she decides that it is time to travel again but this time she needs a trustworthy travel agency to handle her bookings and flight. She contacts Tramango.
