Which Terminal Is My Domestic Airline at Lagos Airport? (2026 Guide)

One of the easiest ways to start your trip on the wrong foot is by going to the wrong terminal.

If you’re flying within Nigeria, Murtala Muhammed Airport (LOS) in Lagos has two domestic terminals: MMA2 (Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2) and the General Aviation Terminal (GAT), also called MM1 or the Old Domestic Terminal. Different airlines operate from different terminals, so it’s always worth confirming where your flight departs before leaving for the airport.

To make things easier, we’ve put together this quick reference guide.

A Few Things to Know Before You Leave for the Airport

  • Check your ticket before you travel. Airlines occasionally change terminals, and some airlines, such as Air Peace, operate flights from both GAT and MMA2 depending on the route.
  • Arrive early. Lagos traffic can be unpredictable, and travelling to the wrong terminal can add extra time to your journey.
  • Connecting from an international flight? The international terminal and the domestic terminals are separate buildings. If you’re connecting to a domestic flight, you’ll need to leave the international terminal and travel by road to either GAT or MMA2, so allow plenty of time between flights.

Final Tip

Before heading to the airport, take a minute to confirm your airline, flight number and departure terminal. It’s a small check that can save you a lot of unnecessary stress on travel day.
